Being part of The Oak Group has been a goal of mine for many years and to have it finally become a reality is incredible! Combining my art with The Oak Group’s mission of land preservation makes me doubly proud to do what I do.
My artistic inspiration harkens back to a much earlier time in my life. I spent my early years soaking up the beauty of the back country near my grandparent’s ranch in Sebastapol California. The memory of those undeveloped vistas is still a strong influence in my work today.
I graduated from UC Berkeley with a Bachelor of Arts in 1977 and received my formal art training at California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland Ca. where I focused on scientific illustration (1979-1982).
