Much of my photography is driven by the lost landscapes of my youth. Growing up coastal Southern California, I have witnessed the loss of places that I cherished and that were essential to the fabric of the special place on earth. In response to that, I seek out places that may or may not be in jeopardy to record and celebrate.
As a pilot for thirty-five years, I have gained new perspectives on the familiar and am able to discover and share relationships that are not apparent from the ground. It is during these of moments of aerial photography then I experience the rapture of seeing anew.
