Preserve More Mesa

More Mesa

Comprising 265 acres of coastal bluff savannah and woodland bordered by pristine white sand beaches, More Mesa is located in eastern Goleta and includes 45 developable acres clustered around Hope Ranch.  More Mesa is home to kites, hawks, osprey, and hundreds of other native animals and plants. It is enjoyed as an open space for walking and horseback riding by the local community and serves as a learning resource for local school children.

Owned by Mr. Earl Holding of Sinclair Oil, More Mesa is currently listed at $40 Million.

Cherished Land, an Oak Group exhibition featuring paintings of More Mesa and Ellwood Bluffs, will be held in the Faulkner Gallery of Santa Barbara Main Public Library from October 3-28, 2012. The show will benefit More Mesa Preservation Coalition and, we hope, will be a catalyst for the purchase and protection of this unique open space.
